Sealants
Combining both binding and gap-filling properties, formulations based on our products enable the sealants to be used in a variety of automotive, building and civil engineering applications. Polyurethane-based systems resist a wide variety of physical conditions and chemical environments: they are water and chemical resistant, can be used over a range of temperatures, and present a better flexibility and toughness balance than competing materials.

Reactive Hot Melts
Moisture curable hot melts based on SUPRASEC® and RUBINATE® products from Huntsman Polyurethanes represent a class of high performance adhesives. They combine the advantages of thermoplastic hot melts with fast strength development and the ability to crosslink of liquid reactive systems. The hot melt character enables the end-user to achieve a fast processing of the laminated parts, while the crosslinking enhances resistance against adverse environmental factors.

Flexible packaging Adhesives
Flexible packaging wraps combine various layers of foil which are glued on top of each other using MDI-based technology. Packaging adhesives based on SUPRASEC® and RUBINATE® products provide heat resistance for high temperatures such as microwaves, resistance to low temperatures for freezer storage, and resistance to water and chemicals inherent in food packaging.

Rubbercrumb Adhesives
Designed to meet the specific needs of a variety of applications, from running tracks to garden tiles, rubbercrumb adhesives suit a range of processing conditions, including wet-lay and molding. Each demands a different adhesive, from high flexibility to rigid, low to high viscosity, and very low to high reactive types, all covered by the Huntsman Polyurethanes' product range.

Panel Laminating Adhesives
The excellent sealing process provided by adhesives based on Huntsman Polyurethanes' SUPRASEC® and RUBINATE® raw materials allows the laminated panel to absorb the stresses of the structural weight, while providing good thermal adaptability. They meet the specific needs of a variety of structural applications, including cold storage rooms, factory building panels and mobile home walls.
