AJ Adhesives Supports the 28th Annual Rider Cup Benefit Golf Tournament

Community involvement is part of how AJ Adhesives does business in every region we serve. This year, that showed up on the golf course: Bill McDonnell, one of our AJ/MAP Representatives in the Northwest, sponsored a hole at the 28th Annual Rider Cup Benefit Golf Tournament, held at North Bellingham Golf Course on July 6, 2026.

Now in its 28th year, the Rider Cup is a four-person team scramble that brings together local businesses and golfers for an afternoon with a purpose. The event has been organized and hosted for 27 years running by Coast Lumber and Phil Simmons — a longtime commitment that’s made the Rider Cup a fixture in the Northwest business community.

All proceeds benefit the NorthWest Therapeutic Riding Center (NWTRC), a nonprofit providing adaptive horsemanship and riding lessons to children and adults of all abilities across Whatcom and Skagit counties. Funds raised support lesson programs, horse care, and the equipment that makes adaptive riding possible for participants with a wide range of needs.

Coast Lumber’s role in hosting the tournament is also a reminder of the partnerships we value most: Coast Lumber has been an AJ Adhesives customer for 22 years. When a longtime customer puts this much energy into a cause, it’s an easy decision to show up and support it.

Sponsoring a hole was a small gesture toward a meaningful goal — helping NWTRC continue its adaptive riding programs. For AJ Adhesives, supporting our representatives’ involvement in local causes is one more way we invest in the communities where our customers, partners, and employees live and work.

AJ Adhesives is proud to have played a part in this year’s Rider Cup and looks forward to continuing to support the causes our partners care about.
