AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging are proud to share that Andy Schwartz, President & CEO, has been named a 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 honoree.
The 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 recognizes 100 of the region’s top CEOs and C-level executives for their leadership, vision, passion, and impact. For Andy, this recognition is a meaningful honor — not just because of what it says about his career, but because of the people, teams, and community that have helped shape the journey along the way.
This is a proud moment for Andy, his family, and everyone at AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging.
What the 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 Recognizes
The 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 celebrates leaders who have built strong organizations and made a lasting impact in their industries and communities. It is not just about holding a title. It is about how leaders support their teams, make decisions, grow their companies, and stay committed to the work over time.
Being nominated and selected as a 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 honoree is a special achievement because it reflects years of consistent leadership. For Andy, that leadership has always been practical, people-focused, and rooted in doing things the right way.
Celebrating the 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 Event in April
Andy and the other honorees were celebrated at the 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 Awards Gala on April 23, 2026, at The Factory. The event brought together the region’s Titan 100 honorees, their guests, sponsors, and members of the business community for an evening focused on recognition, connection, and leadership.
The April event was more than an awards ceremony. It was a chance to celebrate the stories behind the leaders — the years of work, the decisions, the risks, the teams, and the values that helped shape each honoree’s path.
For Andy, the evening was a chance to reflect on the people who have been part of the journey at AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging. It also gave others the opportunity to hear more about his leadership story through the Titan 100 interview and digital book feature.
Andy Schwartz Titan 100 Story: A Career Built Step by Step
Andy’s story has always been tied to St. Louis. He grew up in south St. Louis, graduated from St. Mary’s High School, and later returned to the city where he continues to live, work, and serve the community.
In 1992, Andy started AJ Adhesives, building the company as an industrial adhesives distributor serving manufacturers across a wide range of industries. Over the years, his work expanded through Mid-America Packaging, helping manufacturers with packaging equipment, service, and application support.
Today, Andy leads AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging from the companies’ St. Louis City headquarters, with branch locations in Houston, Dallas, Portland, Chicago, and Philadelphia, and representatives across the country.
Andy’s motto while working to build a strong businesss is that “how you do anything is how you do everything.”
That idea fits Andy well. His leadership has never been about shortcuts or chasing attention. It has been about showing up, learning the details, building trust, and staying committed to steady improvement.
Leadership That Focuses on People and Process
In Andy’s interview and digital book story, one theme comes through clearly: strong businesses are built through discipline, accountability, and people who care about the work.
Andy’s leadership style is practical and team-focused. He understands that growth does not happen by accident. It comes from building good teams, improving systems, supporting customers, and staying focused when markets, supply chains, and production demands change.
One of the most meaningful parts of Andy’s interview is the way he talks about the people around him. He refers to the team at AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging as the “Captains, Coaches, and Players” of Team AJ/MAP — a simple way to recognize that every role matters. Leadership is important, but so are the people leading departments, supporting customers, solving problems, managing daily details, and keeping the business moving forward.
That perspective says a lot about how Andy leads. He does not frame this honor as something he earned alone. He sees it as a reflection of the people who have helped build, support, and strengthen AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging over the years. In the official press release, Andy shared that he would not be in this position without the support of his wife Stephanie, his kids, his family, his business partners, and the team at AJ/MAP.
That steady, people-first approach has helped AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging continue to grow while staying grounded in what matters most: reliability, service, relationships, and doing the work the right way.
