Announcing the 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 Recipients
Titan CEO and headline sponsor Wipfli are pleased to announce Andrew Schwartz, AJ Adhesives Inc. and Mid-America Packaging, as a 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 recipient.
The Titan 100 recognizes St. Louis’s Top 100 CEOs and C-level executives, the region’s most accomplished leaders who have not only built extraordinary companies but have redefined what it means to lead. These Titans exemplify excellence through their vision, passion, and integrity, creating lasting impact across industries and communities.
Collectively, the 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 honorees and their companies generate more than $18 billion in annual revenue and employ over 38,000 individuals across the region and beyond, with more than half exceeding $25 million in annual revenue.
“St. Louis’ Titan 100 are raising the bar for leadership across the state and beyond. With bold vision and unwavering purpose, these trailblazers are driving growth, inspiring innovation, and creating lasting impact in their industries and communities. We are proud to celebrate their leadership and the momentum they are generating for the future,” said Jaime Zawmon, President of Titan CEO.
Andy Schwartz grew up in south St. Louis, graduating from St. Mary’s High School in 1982 and graduating from Southeast Missouri State University in 1986. In 1992, Andy moved back to St. Louis and started AJ Adhesives, which distributes industrial adhesives to all manufacturing sectors. While being a serial entrepreneur, he took on a few partners and started an in-line hockey roller rink, “The Rink,” and a restaurant, “King Louie’s.” In 1998, he divested from business outside the industrial sector and purchased an equipment company specializing in selling/servicing adhesive application equipment, continuous inkjet printers, and industrial labeling equipment in Houston, TX, with his partners. Schwartz and his family moved to Houston in 2000 to transition the business.
In 2008, Schwartz, his wife, Stephanie, and his 3 children moved back to St. Louis to live in the city where Schwartz is still an active member of the community. He served as the Republican Commissioner at the St. Louis City Board of Elections from 2011-2016, and was appointed again in 2024. He was previously appointed by Mayor Clarence Harmon, serving on the Mullanphy Travelers Aid Board and was appointed by Mayor Tishaura Jones to serve on the Forest Park Advisory Board.
In 2026, Andy Schwartz leads AJ Adhesives and Mid-America Packaging’s 45 employees from the corporate headquarters in St. Louis City, alongside branch locations in Houston, Dallas, Tulsa, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
“I am grateful and proud to share being selected as a 2026 St. Louis Titan 100 honoree. The Titan 100 recognizes the top 100 CEOs and C. Suite leaders in the St. Louis region. I would not be in this position to be selected without the support of Stephanie, my wife, my kids, my family, my extremely smart business partners, and my outstanding Captains, Coaches, and Players at Team AJ/MAP! We are all Titans!”
“If you know what you want for your community, the trajectory gets quicker.”
– Andy Schwartz, President & CEO of AJ Adhesives, Inc. and Mid-America Packaging
